Cancellation Policy for Digital Products (EU & UK)

At HBCOMPU LTD, we are committed to providing clear and transparent policies for the purchase of digital products in compliance with EU and UK consumer protection laws. This cancellation policy explains your rights when purchasing digital products from us.

1 Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Rights Directive (EU) and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK), you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel your purchase of digital products. However, this right is subject to specific conditions for digital content, as outlined below.

2 Waiver of the Right to Cancel

When purchasing digital products, you agree to waive your right to cancel if the following conditions are met:

  • You have been informed that the cancellation right will be lost once the digital product is downloaded or accessed.
  • You provided explicit consent to begin the download or access the digital product immediately.
  • By confirming your purchase and downloading/accessing the digital product, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

3 How to Cancel Before Download or Access

If you have not yet downloaded or accessed the digital product, you can cancel your purchase within the 14-day cooling-off period. To do so:

  • Provide your order number and details of the product you wish to cancel.

Confirmation: Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will confirm your eligibility for cancellation and process your refund within 14 days.

4 Refunds

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

Refunds are not available for digital products that have been downloaded or accessed unless the product is defective or not as described.

5 Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

Your right to cancel does not apply in the following cases:

  • The digital product has been downloaded or accessed.
  • You explicitly consented to waive the cancellation right before the download or access commenced.
  • The digital product is personalized or made to your specifications.

6 Defective Products

If you experience any issues with your digital product, such as defects or technical problems:

  • We will assess the issue and provide a resolution, including a replacement or refund if applicable.
